Canada bank statement converters — free
The engine reads a statement by its layout, not by the name of the bank, so a Canada bank without a page here may still convert — and the verification report says plainly whether it did. The banks below have been individually tested, which means their page carries the real properties of that bank's PDF rather than a template.
No bank in this country has been individually tested yet.
What is different about Canada statements
These are the conventions that actually change how a statement has to be read. Getting any of them wrong does not produce an error — it produces a plausible-looking file with the wrong figures in it.
| Date order | Mixed — both day-first and month-first appear, sometimes within one bank. This is the country where detecting the order from the statement matters most. |
| Number grouping | Comma for thousands in English statements; French-language statements may use a space and a comma |
| Column layout | Withdrawals, deposits and balance |
| Bilingual statements | Some statements carry English and French column headers side by side, which we read without treating the second set as data |
What the banks themselves let you export. Canadian banks typically offer CSV or QFX downloads of recent activity. Statement PDFs hold the longer history.
